After selling my previous company, I became deeply concerned about the poor quality of pet treats on the market—laden with GMOs, antibiotics, and linked to inhumane farming practices. This realization inspired me to create ROAM, a company committed to providing healthier options for pets through unique, ethically sourced proteins like ostrich, kangaroo, wild boar, and venison.

As Founder and Managing Director, I oversee every aspect of ROAM, from global supply chains to financial operations. My greatest joy comes from working with our vendor partners and team to create treats that prioritize pet health, sustainability, and trust.

ROAM is built on the pillars of Good for Pets, People, and Planet. Every decision we make reflects a commitment to nourishing pets with high-quality treats, supporting sustainable practices, and fostering meaningful connections with pet parents.

The pet industry is amazing. I have spent most of my career in this passion industry. Pet Parents love talking about their pets, and I love listening to all their wonderful stories and virtually meeting them, mostly from phone pics. When you experience and witness this level of love and devotion, both personally and as an observer, it was easy for me to come up with the mission of ROAM and the pillars that helped us form the company. Good for Pets, People and Planet.

As CEO and Co-founder, I am tasked with running the day to day operations of ROAM which includes building a team of passionate and extremely capable ROAMers, determining and executing our go to market strategies and working with our customer and vendor partners here and abroad to create items that follow our pillars.

It’s hard for a growth company to initially move the needle in a big way, but I feel between our product, advertising and social media campaigns, we are educating pet parents around the world to understand there are sustainable choices when it comes to treats and chews. Education is not just good for our company, but great for the industry in general.

Cooper (our Chief Executive Pet) and I have a slight difference of opinion on which items are our favorites. I love the Gnawkles because we can spend chill down time together at night for hours, he chews and I watch pet videos. He loves the ROAM treats-Ostrich and Wild Boar are his favorites-because he gets an immediate reward, then wants more.

ROAM was started with a simple principle, to do good for pets, people, and planet. It comes down to one word for me-responsibility. As a company, we have a responsibility to do what we can to help clean up our environment and most importantly to offer healthier options for pets to enjoy.

As ROAM’s Marketing Director, I have the most fun job on the team. Combining creativity with passion, I get to showcase our products while celebrating the bond between people and their pets. From creating engaging content to hearing heartwarming customer stories, every day reminds me why pets make life better.

ROAM prioritizes pet health with sustainable, novel proteins that address sensitivities, allergies, and weight management. By sourcing ethically and avoiding antibiotics, we guarantee healthy, natural products pet parents can trust. My Sheltie, Percy, adores the Billy Bone and Wild Boar Toppers, making his love for ROAM loud and clear.

Too many companies prioritize profit over people, pets, and the planet. ROAM’s commitment to sustainability and ethical practices makes it an inspiring company where doing good is at the heart of everything we do.

As Director, I oversee daily operations, sales, and new business acquisitions while collaborating with customers and our global team. The shared purpose of creating the best products for pets worldwide is incredibly rewarding. At ROAM, sustainability isn’t just a goal—it’s a way of life. We source ingredients ethically from wild animals culled for biodiversity, ensuring no antibiotics or growth hormones are used.

If you ask my Doodle, his favorite treats are “all the Toppers!” Personally, I recommend the Ostrich Forever Bone for its Gnawkle ends and marrow-filled center, or our soft treats, which dogs love for their flavor and quality.
